1. The cost of the trip needs to be paid in full before the travelling dates.
2. For a group trip, we have a minimum booking number needed to run the trip. If this minimum number is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel or amend / curtail the trip accordingly. We will notify the customer as soon as possible, up to 3 weeks before departure. We will not be responsible for any loss or claims incurred by the customers in this case.
3. Customer’s cancellation within 6 weeks of due arrival will incur in a fee equal to the full amount of the trip.
4. If we agreed on the payment of a deposit, this is non refundable, it is equal to 50% of the total cost and is due at booking time with a minimum of €250. Subsequent payments are made at an agreed time. Failure to make these payments up to completion of total due, will incur in a surcharge of 5% of the due per delayed week, for 2 weeks. After the 2 weeks of delayed payment, the booking will be considered cancelled
5. If the customer fails to arrive at scheduled time and fails to make contact with OhmRetreats.com within the first 24 hours of due arrival, OhmRetreats.com will consider the contract terminated and the deposit / fee will be kept in compensation.
6. If the customer decides for himself/herself to interrupt, change or cancel the trip during the course of the journey, OhmRetreats.com will not be responsible for the arrangements which deviates from the original itinerary, for the onward travelling of the customer and for compensating the cancellation of the trip or extra costs incurred by the customer due to his/her own decisions.
7. If alternative arrangements or changes are made to the original itinerary, in agreement with OhmRetreats.com, before or during the stay, the extra charges need to be paid prior to the changes taking place.
8. In the unlikely event that we or our suppliers have to make alterations to the booking arrangements, whilst we always endeavour to avoid changes and cancellations, we reserve the right to do so at any time - both before and after bookings have been confirmed and/or cancel confirmed bookings . Tour, excursion, cruise or safari itineraries may change as a result of local conditions, weather, local holidays etc., No compensation can be paid and no liability can be accepted where we are forced to make a change or cancellation as a result of unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, at any time before or during the trip taking place. Whilst every effort is made to operate the itinerary as described, on occasion it may be necessary to make changes to the accommodation, routing or order of an itinerary - for which compensation will not be payable.
9. The currency of the retreats is Euro. The online payment is made through PayPal by which incurs in an administration fee of approx 5% that will be added to the payment. Alternative methods of payment can be arranged – please contact us directly.
10. Entrance tickets to public and private sites, tips [gratuity] and what is not specifically indicated – is not included in the cost of the trip.
11. The use of illegal substances and the over consumption of alcohol during the travel is not accepted and will terminate the contract with OhmRetreats.com immediately.
12. Disruptive, irrational and dangerous behaviour is not accepted and will terminate the contract with OhmRetreats.com immediately.
13. We encourage digital detoxing – we encourage group interaction and limit the use of digital devices.
14. OhmRetreats.com is not responsible for any lost or stolen properties and any other incidents which may occur during the customer’s stay in India and Italy. OhmRetreats.com advises their customers to take on a personal travel and health insurance to cover such occurrences.
15. If in agreement with the customer, OhmRetreats.com books flights on the customer’s behalf, either international or national, OhmRetreats.com is not responsible for any delays, cancellations, or any other problem related to the flights – the contract for the flight product will be between the customer and the airline.
16. OhmRetreats.com is not responsible for the customer’s inadequate or insufficient documents, including vaccinations, necessary to travel. OhmRetreats.com advises their customers to consult with the Indian Embassy in their own Country and with their doctor and/or a Tropical Buereau for the trips to India. For trips to Italy, please consult your Country Foreign Affairs Department indications.
17. If we agreed on the delayed payment and accepted a deposit, with the remaining due at arrival in India or Italy - failure to make the final payment within the first 24 hours of arrival will result in the immediate termination of the contract with OhmRetreats.com and the deposit paid will be kept by OhmRetreats.com as compensation.
